Probably normal: There are glands in the tissues that line the vagina; it is normal for them to produce a clear discharge. Hormonal changes of the menstrual cycle, stress, medications all can influence this. Also, it is not unusual for smooth muscle contraction of the uterus to precede actual menstrual flow. Continue trying not to stress .... all seems good!
