Pediatrician: He needs to be examined by a pediatrician. That's the safest way to really know what's wrong and to correct it. It's a good idea to deal with it before he becomes troubled emotionally by painful bowel movements and is thrown off optimal toilet training progress. Children can learn to avoid proper functioning and have a hard time for years. Do what you can now and it will all come out better. Best!
