Impetigo?: Could be a bacterial infection such as impetigo - needs to be treated with a prescription medication. It's also possible that it's a cold sore - also could be treated with prescription medication.

Maybe herpes: Reading between the lines, I have the impression that this is a recurrent problem. If so, and especially if it usually recurs pretty near the same spot every time, I would suspect oral herpes (cold sores).
