No problem: Hi. Those thyroid function tests are normal. However, a total T4 has only a fraction of the value of a free T4, so you might want to suggest to your old-timer doc to stop ordering total T4 and get a free T4. But it wouldn't change anything. You're toward the hyper end of normal, and that's OK. Are you taking l-thyroxine? Good luck!
