Is it soft or hard?: Different lumps mean different things. Need more info like your age, your medical, social, surgical, family, sexual, meds/supplements, procedural histories to give better meaning to this. It could vary from being related to tophi (gout), to being a lipoma, or a ganglion cyst. All these would be benign but have different etiologies depending on your history.
