I recently got a positive ana test 1:80 homogenous with no other symptoms. what does this mean? 32 yrs old healthy.

Positive ana: 1:80- not that high. Worry if > 1:160.Ana tests for autoimmune disease. In recent study ~13% of well blood donors had + ana with no symptoms, of those, 72% did not develop any issues with ~ 4 years of follow up. Sometimes other conditions like thyroiditis, mono, chronic disease,multiple sclerosis can cause positive ana as can meds :INH,hydralazine,procainamide remicade (infliximab). FU with rheumatologist.
