Risks: Pre-ejaculate may contain large amounts of viable sperm, smaller amounts of sperm that are dead or alive or no sperm. Thus, there is potential for pregnancy with pre-ejaculate. Sperm need to be deposited in vagina or at introitus for pregnancy to occur. If used consistently & correctly, a condom can prevent pregnancy up to 98%. Because condoms are often used correctly efficacy is about 82 to 85%
