Why does this happen: This is not a normal period for you. The next question is whether this is a one month phenomenon or is every month is going to be like this. In the latter case, the causes may be an abnormal uterus, hormone imbalance, stress, medicine interactions, etc. My suggestion is to observe this period and then see what your next period is like and decide to seek medical help.
