Why do we have millions of people with diabetes? why are we doing wrong? will there be a cure soon? thanks

Bad lifestyle: Hi. It's a good question. Simple answer is: really unhealthy lifestyle. Consider this: there was virtually NO type 2 diabetes prior to the Industrial Revolution. With the widespread availability of food and labor-saving devices, we (human society) have created a very prevalent disease. Of course, throw human passion for junk food in the mix, and OMFG, we have an obesity and diabetes epidemic!
