Lactose intolerance?: Would help to know what specific symptoms you are having. Many patients with lactose intolerance can tolerate varying levels of lactose. It is possible that that the soft serve ice cream may contain more lactose. Other possibility is that it contains some artificial color or other ingredient, not in other dairy products that you do not tolerate. Avoid soft serve ice cream or try different brand.
