A member asked:

Sore and occasional bleeding after intercourse. not every time but frequently, it gets to the point where i have to hold my abdomen with thrusts?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sex: should not be painful or cause bleeding. You need to talk with your partner concerning this. Alternate positions may be helpful particularly with you on top where you can control the depth of penetration. He may not realize what is going on. Additionally you should be checked by your GYN to make sure their are no problems as bleeding with intercourse can be a warning sign.k
