Herpes: Herpes necking humans is general type I and II. Type 1 is usually associated with cold sores and Type II with genital lesions. In today's world this is not so clear cut they both can occur either place. Both can be spread by direct contact. They can also be spread on things such as lip gloss. They are not spread on toilet seats. It can be spread genitally when there are not active lesions.
