Why doesn't targin work for your pain when you have been on it for a long period of time?

No idea: It is useful to have the reason for pain found out about. Check with your doc and discuss a real diagnosis and what kind of treatment is best for you. Maybe aspirin will do the job. Good luck

Drug dependence: Targin which is a narcotic medicine has the potential for addiction. People would get dependent for the narcotics after a long term use, may feel it is working anymore and ask for increased dose. It is better to avoid narcotics and seek for some other means for pain control.
