Optimistic: If you have been very consistent with your birth control, this could just be a normal hormonal fluctuation or breakthrough bleed. If you aren't on birth control, what i would suggest is get a home pregnancy test. If that's negative that's a bit reassuring as you could get on birth control to regulate your period.

Dysfunctional bleed: if this is a daily occurrence you need to see an OB doc right away to see why this is happening. There are several things that can affect you that can cause this, but you need to see your OB, tell your story in detail, get a good physical exam done, and have some tests done based on the findings, to get to the answer here
