Sounds: Like vertigo. A proper exam by your doctor can determine if positional vertigo/ear problems are causing this symptom. If you are unable to walk have problems at rest immediate assessment at an emergency room is suggested.

Many causes of this: There are many causes of this symptom. Sometimes when the eyes do not gaze in the same direction this occurs. See if it improves with covering either eye. Sometimes this is caused by a sense of movement from the inner ear. It would be worse with moving the head (turning or tilting) and better with sitting or lying still. There are also causes from medicines, heart beat, etc. Hope this helps!
