A member asked:

Extreme exhaustion and almost fainting with nausea and headaches a full week prior to mensuration. is that normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Premenstrual: Sodium is retained before the menstrual cycle often leading to those symptom due to fluid retention. Taking a mild diuretic a week before your period may obviate those symptoms. Take potassium if you use a diuretic, however. Discuss this with your physician.
