Otorrhea: Causes of ear discharge are many, and include the following: bacterial/viral/fungal infections of the canal or parotid gland, chronic middle ear infection with perforation, neoplasms or other masses, dermatitis, cholesteatoma, granulation tissue, mastoiditis, etc. In short, recurrent ear discharge should be evaluated by an otolaryngologist (ENT)!
