A member asked:

Every time i stretch my body heats up. why is that??

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Increased blood flow: As you stretch you increase blood flow to vital organs, and muscle. This increased flow of blood to the muscles is needed to provide the tissues with the necessary increased oxygen demand used during the stretching of those muscles. Most of the time the increased blood flow is not noted as heat however you might. Therefore you feel it as heat.
