Foot trauma: If you are having trouble moving your foot after trauma you need to get an X-Ray to make sure you didn't fracture anything. Keep it elevated and ice it and take an anti inflammatory medication to help with the pain and swelling. You will probably have to stay off of it and take it easy for several weeks if you have a fracture or a sprain. Hope you feel better soon

Need xray to dx: You will need to have some radiology studies to insure there is not a fracture with your symptoms and history. If your cannot get this done today ,get some crutches, non weight bearing and use intermittent ice on the foot today and then be seen tomorrow
