How high? How long?: More details please. How long have you been running a temp, and how high is it? Do you have any other symptoms? Body temperature normally fluctuates during the day. 1 degree above and 1 degree below 98.6 degrees F is within normal limits. Why do you think it might be cancer?

Elevated temperature: can occur with lots of conditions (infection, increased metabolism due to hyperthyroidism, impaired ability to sweat, and medications like diphenhydramine -which is found in many OTC medications as a sleep aid.) Unexplained weight loss may been seen with occult malignancy. You might ask your doctor about this.
