Not in the US today: As of this week (Oct. 2014), there are only 2 recently diagnosed Ebola patients (both are nurses) in the U.S., so even though it is possible to catch Ebola from a contaminated toilet seat (or any object freshly contaminated with blood or bodily substances/fluids) there is no place to find such a contaminated object in the U.S. except for in the hospital units caring for the two American patients.

Agree w Dr. Kwok: Very much agree with Dr. Kwok. The only acutely infected people in the US are hospitalized. Their contacts are being monitored. An individual is only infectious when they have active symptoms. Thus, that is when they would have the ability to contaminate a surface with secretions. Even if one was in an Ebola outbreak area, Ebola virus on surfaces dies quickly in ambient conditions.
