Hard to say: Sometimes soaps, detergents, fabric softeners, products with fragrances and over-vigorous scrubbing/wiping can cause dryness and cracking of the perineum. Use mild unscented soaps, creams, lotions, and detergents. Be gentle. If problem recurs see a doctor to find out what is going on.
