Wart virus: HPV is the family of wart viruses. different members of the family cause differ diseases. The types 6 and 11 cause 90% of the genital warts. These are uncomfortable but are basically like warts elsewhere but do occur in the genital area. There is another group of these viruses that are known as the high risk viruses which increase the risk of cervical, vaginal, vulvar, and anal cancer.
