Enteritis: This may be viral, but too early to tell. Hopefully will clear up in the next several days. If you continue to see mucous and if you see blood it might be better to consult with your family doctor. Best wishes.

Acute diarrhea: If your diarrhea has been only occurring for two days, I would recommend trying to drink lots of liquids. Consider using Imodium (loperamide) to slow the diarrhea down. If you continue to have symptoms for several more days, or if you have bleeding or high fevers, then I would see your doctor. Diarrhea is never pleasant, but it gets better on its own in most cases. Good luck.
