Pregnancy categories: Safe is a relative term. There are categories that all medications have for pregnancy safety. A through D and X. For your situation, your symptoms do not seem life threatening nor something that needs to be treated, so I personally would only take a category A or B drugs for your situation. Every OB is different, ask your OB and reconfirm with your ENT.
