Always soft: tooth brash with ergonomic and flexible handle. Also important to look for manual or electrical soft toothbrushes that have earned the ADA Seal of Approval.

Soft, rounded tips: A soft toothbrush with rounded bristles is your best bet for keeping your teeth clean and your gums healthy. You don't use sandpaper to clean your floor, unless you want to remove the finish. Use the proper tools and your teeth will be clean and healthy.

Bacteria: The bacteria that cause tooth decay & gum disease are soft & sticky like molasses. You don't need a wire brush, you don't need to scrub hard. A soft brush will flex into hard to reach spaces better than a hard one. But you need to floss or WaterPik to reach where a toothbrush can't.
