Lymph node: There are a number if possibilities and I would not hesitate to be seen. One of the more common causes is a swollen lymph node. The lymph system acts as a filter system and there is a chain that runs up the inner thigh. When an induvidual node gets enlarged, of the related to infection somewhere, it will become enlarged and tender. Don't hesitate to be seen.
