Acyclovir : Daily suppressive therapy reduces outbreaks & shedding virus . You have to make a decision about your partner if herpes negative (tell i no tell). Latex condom my add extra protection.

Continue having sex: There is nothing about Acyclovir that prevents you from having sex. If you're taking it for genital herpes suppression, i think you're morally obligated to inform your partner of the herpes, but the Acyclovir itself is not an impediment to sex and, indeed, may help suppress the contagiousness of the disease.
