My baby has a huge bladder. how will the doctors treat this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Check the pee stream: If you have had an ultrasound of your baby and it shows a big bladder, it maybe due to posterior urethral valves. After birth if your baby does not urinate sufficiently they may have to surgically repair this obstruction. This usually occurs in boys. If your baby pees okay and is otherwise normal, it should be okay.
