Dextrose: We use that to treat diabetics with hypoglycemic reactions. Also starving kids with diarrhea and vomiting. There is no reason that anyone that can eat should use it--unless you want to sweeten your coffee.

Dextrose: Is d isomer of glucose, or simple sugar. It is a necessary fuel source for humans. I suppose too much of it taken by mouth could be bad because it might raise blood sugar and Insulin requirements. But so are a lot of other things when taken in extreme amounts.
