Possibly: It is possible. There could be something in the meat such as a preservative that might cause that. Although, there are several other possibilities. It could be over production of stomach acid which is called reflux. It could be from upper respiratory drainage. It may be a very isolated benign case and may never happen again. In any event, if the symptoms continue, the child should be examine.
