Difficult to swallow: You MUST see your MD at once. It could be something relatively mild. However it can also be the beginning of a bigger problem.

Dysphagia, see PCP: means difficulty swallowing. Once the cause is determined, dysphagia may be treated with: 1. Swallowing therapy. 2. Medication. 3. Surgery. See your PCP for consultation.
