Stool impaction: You describe stool impaction. If 100 percent stuck, then disimpaction is required, either with gloved finger or fleets enema. ER trip may be next step.

There are stool soft: There are stool softeners you can take so that it's easier to have a bowel movement. The numbness in the legs is because of the position on the toilet seat and the fact you're been there for a while. It is not anything dangerous.
