Throat: Sounds like you might have a viral or bacterial sore throat, possibly mono. Get a throat culture and mono blood test.

Sore throat: Best to go to your PCP or urgent care for a throat swab rapid strep test with a back up culture to see if you need antibiotic treatment. In the meantime, treatment with warm salt water gargling may help. Might also need to rule out thrush or candida yeast infection.
