Pain Control: It is common to experience pain or pressure in or around your jaw joint and earache after jaw surgery. This pain will usually disappear within 2-3 weeks. If the pain medication is not taking the pain away, call your surgeon and request an anti-inflammatory medication prescription. Alternate the opioid medication with NSAIDs every 4-6 hours. Get well soon.

That hurts!: Hi. You're legitimately in pain. You're one week out, so you should be following up with your surgeon very soon. Mention this to her/him. She/he may want to check an X-ray to make sure the fracture reduction hasn't shifted. Otherwise, you may just need pain medications until the surgery and fracture have healed more. Discuss with your surgeon. Get plenty of calcium & vitamin D to help bone heal.
