A member asked:

I had bad skipped beats & racing heart during continuous 48 hour recording. but the report was fine.. is this false negative test or anxiety palps?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cardiac awareness: If you're having symptoms but the recording doesn't show them, then you have cardiac awareness. That's not a false negative. It's a true negative that proves that your symptoms don't correlate with actual irregularity of your heart. I see you take diltiazem. I've found that propranolol works better for this symptom. I usually start low: 40 mg a day, gradually titrate up till sx improve.
