Alcohol and Lunesta (eszopiclone): together may cause increased CNS depression. That being said 1 standard 6 oz glass of wine 4 hours ago really should not be a problem but frequent or excessive use together may be problematic.

Alcohol and sedative: I don't recommend alcohol and any sleep aids like lunesta (eszopiclone) that can cause respiratory depression. Perhaps try a benadryl or other sedating OTC antihistamine. The rate the alcohol leaves your body depends on weight and eating along with other factors.
