A member asked:

How can i have high insulin resistance and hypoglycemia at the same time? does this mean i am diabetic?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Insulin resistance: Hi. When your body is insulin resistant, your pancreas, as long as it's able, secretes a larger amount of insulin to overcome the resistance; the larger amount of insulin may actually push your blood sugar to the lower end. You may not be diabetic at all, as long as your pancreas can secrete enough insulin to overcome the insulin resistance, although you're at risk. Eat healthily and exercise.
