A member asked:

When seated, if i look down to my lap then lean upper body forward i have bad lower back pain, what could be wrong?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Back pain: Muscular strain, ligament tear, tear of the disc, a central disc herniation, inflammation of the sacroiliac joints, or a stress fracture can cause this kind of pain. Try anti-inflammatory medications, ice, and a simple low profile back brace for a few days. If the pain persists then see a spine specialist.
