Can blood pregnancy test be wrong? last month my period cycle was 25 days it is irregular every month. last period was 13 sept. and today is 10 oct.

All tests: have a false negative rate. That being said, blood HCG tests are quite accurate, and there are many causes of irregular periods. See your doctor, as further testing may be needed. Hope this helps!

Sometimes: Tests performed too early in the pregnancy, before there is a significant hCG level, may give false-negative results. If you have been sexually active in the past two weeks, check another urine pregnancy test. If you are having problems getting pregnant, ask your doctor about ovulation testing to better predict the best time to have intercourse.
