Yes: In fact, it is almost certain to bring them on and/or make them worse. It is an Expectancy effect and that is strong for most people. Fortunately, it also works in the other direction. Depending on how much you believe that a physical event will occur, if it is one you have any familiarity with, you are very likely to experience it. Many medications benefit a lot from this. Best!
