This most likely was a wen or inclusion cyst. A wen can drain cheese like substances. True pus should be accompanied by redness&tenderness and signifies an abscess. Apply warm soaks, pat dry,apply antibacterial ointment. Clean surrounding area with rubbing alcohol to kill staph bacteria. See MD if spreading redness,increased pain and swelling.
