See below: Bacterial infections may be local (tonsilitis, pneumonia) or systemic (septicemia). Leydig cells are at risk if you have a bacterial orchitis, but not by an infection elsewhere in the body, and would be an unusual site for the spread of bacterial infection from elsewhere in the body.
