Red itchy spot: May be poison ivy or oak, other contact dermatitis, bed bugs or scabies., Benedryl helps, you may need steroid ( prednisone) pills if topical steroids do not help. Sometimes there is an associated infection so antibiotics may be used as well. For scabies you need elmite. Wash all clothes/ bed linen . See doc/urgent care/telemedicine
