I was told that consuming 500 eggs a year is the new benchmark now. it was 1 egg per day previously. my blood has high triglycerides. please advise. ?

Cholesterol: The egg yolk is high in cholesterol but not in triglycerides. People on low cholesterol diets are advised to limit egg yolk intake to about three a week. One whole egg a day is ok if one's cholesterol is not elevated. Your physician is best qualified to advise you as he/she knows all your findings.
