No testes: It is possible to have a child born without testes but a chromosome test should be done to identify sex if it appears the child should be a boy.

Probably true: True if a tiny lump or nubbin size of a pin head + vas can be palpated in the empty half of scrotum. Laparoscopy is only sure way of ruling out an intra-abdominal testis.
