BhCG not = MC rate: I assume "beta" means beta-hCG, the pregnancy marker. To my knowledge, the hCG is used to indicate the length of time of pregnancy / implantation of the embryo. Unless there is a tumor, BhCG doubles every few days for the first few weeks. Regardless of the BhCG "doubling time", it does not predict later rates of miscarriage (esp in 2nd or 3rd trimester). So, no reason to be discouraged. GL!
