A member asked:

Chronic pressure in left ear. lately it is better but still get pressure in only left ear (not right) with a cold/allergies. should i get ear tube?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Thar She Blows!!!: Ear tubes are considered only after other less invasive things have been tried. You need to see an ear specialist who will get details on your situation and have a look inside, then decide what to do. Usually things can be resolved without the need for tubes and it would be unusual to need them on just one side. In the meantime if you have to blow your nose do so gently one nostril at a time
