Determine cause: Once the cause of the sensitivity is determined, then advice can be give as to how to treat it. For example, if it is due to a cavity, then the advice would be to have the tooth restored with a filling. Since we cannot tell over the internet why your tooth is sensitive, you'll have to see a local dentist for evaluation.
