Red,hot,swollen: If you had cellulitis one month ago, unless you reinfect yourself, it should not reappear. Sometimes, if you scratch yourself with dirty nails, or with an object that is not clean, the cellulitis may return. Wash well with soap and water and don't scratch.

Low fever w/cellulitis. Symptoms gone (fever still there) w/ 4.5days of sulfa/azythro antibx. Quit sulfa day 5. Still on azythro day 8. Bruise back?
Went to primary doc for symptoms of infection/possible cellulitis. Swollen groin lymph. Doc did bloodwork and came back with nucleated rbc of 87 cells/UL. Neutrophils 502. WBC 2.9. All other lab work is normal. Do I need a hospital? Next steps?
